Our company has adopted the ISO 50001 Energy Management System (EnMS) and ISO 14064-1 for greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory. From building the systems to passing third-party certification, we’ve continued to manage them independently according to our manuals. In April and May of this year, we also completed third-party recertification.
When we first set up the EnMS, many of the data points were based on estimates. As technology advanced, we installed smart meters, allowing us to track energy use more accurately. This enabled us to set specific energy-saving targets and implement them. The idea of "energy saving" has now become part of everyone's daily work and life, helping us improve energy efficiency, lower costs, and gain real benefits.
For GHG management, we adhere to the ISO 14064-1 standards. We carefully calculate emissions from all parts of our operations — including employee commuting, manufacturing, and logistics. This includes water, electricity, and fuel usage. We’ve created a complete carbon footprint map. After four days of third-party verification, we not only reviewed our emissions but also gained valuable insights through working with consultants — such as how to build an emissions inventory, operate the Ministry of Environment’s reporting platform, and update emission factors in real time.
These systems have not only strengthened our long-term sustainability efforts but also helped us stay competitive in meeting ESG standards and international supply chain requirements.
